Who can join the team?
You’re eligible to put yourself forward to be a member of the TTP if:
You were an Active member of the GE Pension Plan (GEPP) when it closed to the build-up of future benefits on 31 December 2021, and remain in GE’s employment; or
You’re a pensioner member of the GEPP or the GE Capital Pension Scheme (GECPS).
If you’re appointed as a TTP member and then subsequently either stop being employed by a GE Company or start receiving your GE pension, our policy specifies that your term of office must end immediately.
You cannot put yourself forward if:
You have been convicted of an offence involving dishonesty or deception (unless the conviction is spent).
You have been declared bankrupt or have entered into certain other voluntary agreements with creditors.
You have been disqualified from acting as a company director.
You have property in Scotland which is covered by a sequestration order.
It is a criminal offence to act as a Trustee if any of the above applies to you.
